My name is Sabine Branch. I am originally from Germany and I moved to the United States
about six years ago. I’ve been living in the SouthBay
since moving to the States. Before moving here I was a licensed physical
therapist for ten years. Over the past five years, I have
been completing college- level coursework in health, physiology, and exercise
science courses.
In 2002 I completed the requirements necessary for the
American Council for Exercise (ACE) certification as ‘Certified Personal
Trainer’. In 2005, I also earned another certification with ACE, as a Lifestyle
and Weight Management Consultant. I am currently working with clients in West
Los Angeles, Beverly Hills and clients from the SouthBay.
I have always loved sports. While growing up in Germany, I swam
competitively for about four years, competing in the West German Championships.
I only gave up swimming to take on the new challenge of gymnastics.
I sat for the instructor/ training exam and started to work
with young adults and kids. I also earned a certification as an in-line skating
(rollerblade) instructor. I was also active in paragliding. After moving to the
States, I played collegiate Badminton at El Camino College in Torrance (2004). I competed in both Singles
and Doubles and I qualified for the Northern State Championships in Doubles.
